Ration Distribution at HOPE's Thatta Hospital & School

Maintaining a very high quality hospital and Primary  & Secondary school in Thatta, the heart of rural Sindh, has been a matter of great pride to HOPE an NGO in Pakistan. Adjacent to the hospital  is the school that provides quality education to as many as 300 students fully maintained and run by HOPE, an educational NGOin Pakistan .

But other than providing  quality health assistance and quality education Dr Mubina Agboatwalla, child specialist in Karachi ensures that other  forms of help is also extended to the residents within the near vicinity of  HOPE’s hospital and school, specially in the month of Ramazan .
In keeping with the traditions of HOPE, Dr Mubina Agboatwalla, child specialist in Karachi and chairperson of HOPE ensured  rations be distributed to the poor of Thatta and for this reason sent truck load  of  ration consisting of a week’s supply of rice, flour, sugar and cooking oil etc separately packed and sufficient  for each individual family.

The delivery was timed for the  end of Ramazan when the need for food-stuff  is more intense. To avoid mishandling, all the ration bags were stocked within the Hospital premises before orderly distribution was made to all the  verified and listed poor and needy of the surrounding areas.
